FAMILY:
I, "Prof. Somendra Kumar Mazumder" was born in 1938 in Naogaon, Distt. Razsahi, Bengal (now Bangladesh). My father is Late Shri Shailendra Kumar Mazumder and my mother is Late Smt. Jayanti Mazumder.
I got married in the year 1964 with Sumitra Mazumder, who hails from Malda, West Bengal. I have one daughter and one son.
My daughter, Jayati Mazumder is an M.S. in Bio-Chemistry. She is a "School Teacher" (PGT) in New Delhi.
My son, Sudip Kumar Mazumder is Ph.d in Electrical Engineering. He is "Professor" in Electrical Engineering at UIC, Chicago, U.S.A.
